Master & Guest Bathroom-In progress

So I finally got the pictures off my phone I had taken of both bathrooms in progress. I forgot to take real BEFORE pictures prior to taking off some things, but you'll get the picture :)

Lets start with the master bath-

Here you can see a little of what the wallpaper was like in our bathroom, I forgot to take one where it was from wall to ceiling.

After we removed the wallpaper from the wall with our walk in closet.

After removing mirror...

And here are a couple pictures from since we painted-

We still have to paint the cabniets white, so as soon as that is done, I will take the after pictures!

Now here is the guest bathroom that we are going to be doing next. We had just started removing the wallpaper when I took the pictures-

Thought it was done...but...

So I thought we were done with the bathroom, BUT, I decided I wanted to also paint the cabinets. Once I post pictures..you'll definitely understand why. They are a very dark, very ugly, dark wood, and the wood is completely flat. So ugly.

We went to Target and Michaels, my sister and her boyfriend had come down to check out the bathroom and just kinda hang out, and after we went to lunch we walked over to the target and I found some really pretty "for show" towels. For show because they are just there to look pretty, and not to be used haha. The green is a little brighter than the green tile thats in the bathroom, but I still like it. Then I went to Michaels and got a couple little decorative things for each bathroom. I've decided to change the color of the guest bathroom. Instead of a beige color, I'm going with blue. Not a dark or light blue, but something in the middle. Similar to this...

Except, our tiles are white, and we have the same ugly dark wood cabinets, so I'll be painting those black. So it will be blue, black and white. I can't WAIT.

So my sister and I had a good time looking for all kinds of bathroom stuff at Target. We didn't get anything other than the towels, but man did I want to. I also stumbled upon these two things at Target and Michaels, it took all my power to not buy them. haha.

Speaking of Twilight. I am DYING for the Eclipse trailer! I can't wait until Remember Me is released so we can see the trailer finally! It seems like we have hardly gotten anything with Eclipse. Then the New Moon DVD is out the 20th! This is going to be a GOOD month I think :)

Ghosts and Hair Dye?

So for the past few days we had Louies other sister Christina stay with us. The previous weekend we had his sister Briana, and they just need breaks away from the house and each other sometimes, so we figured Christy should come. So Friday afternoon we went and picked her up from school. When we got back to the house, she decided she wanted to watch Ghost Hunters (we all love the show) which made her decide she wanted to go on an "adventure". So we went downstairs and looked up on the computer some local "haunted" places, and went to check them out! The first place we found was this road near us, Brea Canyon Road, that apparently because its so dark, many of people have died and the stories we read about it seemed pretty creepy. Well it was around 11ish when we were on the road, and it was pretty busy! Granted, it was Friday night, so Louie kept having to pull over and let people pass us. It definitely wasn't very scary at all. We had fun though, and video taped the whole thing. So our next stop was called Dead Mans Park in Whittier. Apparently, there was a cemetary there manyyyy years ago, and they decided to turn it into a park, so they just moved the HEADSTONES and not the graves themselves. Well, we got over there and there was a police car up at the top of the street, and some random guy in the park smoking. So I decided I didn't feel comfortable getting out of the car and checking it out. We figured we'd go back the following night and check it out, but it didn't happen lol. After we left, we went to Norms at like midnight in our PJ's, it was alot of fun. The next night Christina and I decided to make chocolate covered strawberries, drink some martinellis, and watch A Walk To Remember, she had NEVER seen it! I was shocked, so we totallllly cried. But it was fun. She picked out Tuck Everlasting to watch next, I owned it but had never seen it, and it was a cute movie.

Sunday we took her home, and Briana decided for the first time she wanted me to dye her hair. She said her whole life she would NEVER dye it, but so we went to Target, she got a deep reddish brown, pretty close to her natural color. And it turned out very pretty.
